Yes, you have to call or chat with them to remove the $15 data add on.

I've had simple choice for something like 10 years now. Used to be that I get 5 lines for $100 and each addtl line was $10 a month (up to 10 lines total). I was using 6 lines and slowly it evolved into $120 for 6 lines and $25 per addtl line (sneaky).

So, when I tried this, UPGRADE option DID NOT work. Both New Line OR Porting in a number gave the discount. So Porting in a number was optional, as long as I add a new line for $25/month. It works.

I don't need a new line right now so didn't care for it but might help others.
Getting a new line without porting a number is not giving monthly credits at the end. Porting is required.

I am in the same boat. i think there are a couple of different variations of the Simple Choice plan. Some people are on Simple Choice North America but I'm just on the regular Simple Choice and I am capped at 10 lines.. and have been for a while. but i will still try by calling!

Can this phone be used with Verizon / XFinity? I'll sign up just to get the device if I can easily just use it under my Xfinity plan.

Any one know the promo number? I mean like P706 or P737 etc?

Appears to work on all iphone 14 models. But no go on the 15 models.

Local T-mobile store said port-in needs to be from AT&T or Verizon.
They wouldn't take port-in from a MVNO H2O or Visible.
Has anyone else observed the same?

Will need to pay off the device in full and wait 40 days to get it unlocked from T-mobile by calling CS. once unlocked it can be used with any other service.

How much do you pay for 10 lines on this plan. I'm looking for newer plan with 4 lines, but can't beat my old ONE plan.
Simple Choice add a line is $10. Comes to about $15 with taxes.

I called yesterday and the tmobile rep told me that my "free line" promotion expired in January. The representative did however offer me a free iPhone 14 with the condition of opening a new line. Guess promos are account specific. Doesn't hurt to call and ask if you're eligible. Good luck everybody.

Did she say"opening a new line" is free? I rather get a free line than a free phone. Op got the phone for just $8 a month for the 14 plus

Also, aren't we due for a really good deal on iPhone 15, as iPhone 16 will most likely be released in less than 4 months?

I am seeing a monthly fee of $25 for the new line Frown
$10 for the line + $15 for 6GB of data. I assume that the data option can be removed.

The lines you have to buy are expensive. I am on Magenta with T Mobile and only pay 35 per line.
Only $35 per line? I only pay $15 per line. I think my only is $20 less than yours. I would never tell anyone you "only" pay - $35 is really high. $480 over two years and you definitely pay taxes. So it's not "only" $35.
