Please stay away from the Mirai. The hydrogen/H2 fuel costs $36/kg. The $15K fuel card they will give is good for 25K miles. It'll cost ~$180 to fill up, which is good for ~300 miles. I'm part of a telegram group of Mirai owners. Many there cannot get near to 400 miles advertised range, no matter how hard they try. People in SolCal have to deal with unreliable H2 stations. People in SF just had their only 3 local stations closed permanently.

It's crazy to see how similar the interior is to a nissan rogue. Pretty much copy paste of the rogue

That's for last gen, also plug-ins use a different transmission.

Yeah, but you lose the tiny third row seat hopefully their collab with the Chinese bears some fruit

Not in the new one. PHEV has the third row. Good enough for kids on short trips.

I'm on my fourth Outlander. They are unbeatable on price / value. I always get the nicest model and build quality is fantastic. Currently driving the 40th anniversary PHEV. Highest trim with massaging seats. Insane value for $50k imo.

I think $180 in electricity in California is $60 in Georgia (seriously, no political statement).

Toyota Mirai is hydrogen powered. Electricity cost is not a factor. I think you misspoke.

I'd never buy another Nissan after my 2015 Sentra's CVT transmission went kaput after only 80,000 miles, costing me 4900 bucks to fix. I joined a class action suit, they reimbursed the cost but didn't admit their thansmissions were faulty. F them

Okay, 0% is nice, but if you can afford payments large enough to pay off a new vehicle in 48 months, are you really going to choose a Mitsubishi in 2024? I'm sure they're not terrible, because I think there are actually very few truly bad cars on the market these days, but if you have your choice of anything in the price range, why the heck are you going to pick a Mitsubishi? Please explain your logic if you bought/are buying one, because I don't understand why you would pass on every other brand.

I need a plug in SUV that's soft-road capable with AWD. I considered a lighting but I just do too many long trips into middle of nowhere too often for EV only. (For climbing and skiing).

Show me an alternative at a comparable price. RAV4 prime comes close but it's a lot smaller a vehicle for more money.
