4k ips monitor 240hz, but that be too expensive at the moment. Good text clariy on IPS monitors for office work and gaming is not an issue even at a lower refresh rate.I would prioritize text clarity over refresh rate because it's something more noticeable where as u probably won't notice a diffence between 60hz to 144hz.. although at 240hz u might.

Total with student email on Samsung site is 698.86. Is this a good deal? I would like to purchase extended warranty but it is not being offered on the site. Is this a deal breaker?
