Absolutely spectacular deal for the G4. I had no idea I had partner store access, but the wife is a teacher with a verified ID.me account and that was all it took. $3087 shipped with VA tax for 77" G4.
GT had been down as low as $2850ish for the 77" G3, and I had been hoping to get costco in the $3000 range plus tax. But this is unheard of for the G4 which wasn't even on my radar. I'm sure its not a $1000 upgrade over the G3, but a G4 at this premium over bottom dollar G3 prices can't be beat.

Coming from a 65 inch GX
I'm hanging this above the fireplace and the studs aren't close enough to fit the slim mount. I'm looking at getting a slim sanus tilt mount, which will leave enough space for me not to mess with the power outlet.

I used this. Also had 2 holes and wires already running from my old set 65" C2 so that helped alot. The G4 isn't super flush as it could be but still happy with it, maybe I'll have someone fix it later but I'm content for now.
Handy is hit or miss it's all on how the local installers are.
