Ordered!!!!

Absolutely spectacular deal for the G4. I had no idea I had partner store access, but the wife is a teacher with a verified ID.me account and that was all it took. $3087 shipped with VA tax for 77" G4.

GT had been down as low as $2850ish for the 77" G3, and I had been hoping to get costco in the $3000 range plus tax. But this is unheard of for the G4 which wasn't even on my radar. I'm sure its not a $1000 upgrade over the G3, but a G4 at this premium over bottom dollar G3 prices can't be beat.

HUGE THANKS to the OP!

This is a great deal. Once again people downvoting because they don't have access to partner store.

2897 for G4 77 with wall mount is hilariously good given the best deal for G3 77 was 2842 from greentoe without wall mount.

I ordered Sunday, it's scheduled for 7/5. It says processing, but I'd expect something like that with a month+ out.

The 83 g4 no longer available in my zip code.. will they add more by June 9th or should I go with 77? I really wanted 83.
As I understand it, the code ends June 9, but I haven't seen an end date for the pricing itself. They already hiked the price for the 83 C3 (substantially) and the 77 C3.

I've been checking frequently on the SKUs of interest to me the last couple of days and haven't seen them restocked at any point, so not optimistic.

Came back in stock. And I ordered the 77". This is a spectacular deal for the latest model g4. I was holding out for the Sony Bravia or a95l but this is a better deal all up.

Am wondering if should get the soundbar bundle as well. With discounts it is another 600. Am concerned about the audio.

Is there a special hdmi 4K cable I should get with these tvs? I'm replacing a 14yo lcd 😂

Ordered 77g4 May 20 which showed May 25 delivery date.
Didn't get ship notification until May 24
Delivered May 25.

I opted to decline Handy. This gave me some major angst in both directions, but I knew I needed both support and electrical work to get the TV where I wanted it, and I didn't trust Handy to do it right or without a major upsell. It also seemed unlikely that Handy would initially accept responsibility if something went bad in the install and I'd be left fighting LG on it anyways.

Whether that was correct choice or not, I did successfully get it done myself with a buddy to help lifting. Some tips:

1. Watch a few youtube videos. The written instructions make it seem way more complex than it is, and the youtube videos helped me.

2. The slim mount can only go on studs 16" OC. So if you have a single stud in the center of where you want it to go (like I did), you will need to get creative. I opted to remove the drywall, and install 2x6 blocking, itself supported by some 2x4 blocks I attached to the studs.

3. I purchased a 14"x14" Legrand recessed box kit on Amazon with an outlet attachment and installed this 6-8" below the mount area. Cable management is important so it can sit flush to the wall, so I did not lock the location of this until I had the back of the TV in front of me.

4. One of the tips I picked up from a YouTube video was to leave the TV sitting in the bottom of the box and lift that as part of the actual install. A little more awkward, but with the mount fully extended there is space to do this. It makes it functionally impossible to damage the bottom of the TV during the lift.

5. The other thing I was REALLY concerned about was pushing the TV in at the end to collapse the mount. The instructions say to push the top and bottom first, then the center where the mount is. I couldn't get it to collapse with the (very light) amount of pressure I was willing to risk. I ended up using the giant styrofoam piece that protect the front of the TV in the box to push the TV in. This allowed me to provide even pressure to a huge amount of surface area at once, and it collapse nicely. No idea if this is needed, but it made me feel way better about it.
This is useful. Am wondering if I can decline handy in that case. Not sure how they are going to do this right until they see the location the tv needs to go into.

I had an issue where mine said shipped and was supposed to deliver on Monday, but it was crickets. LG claimed the info they had was that we had received the tv, which was obviously incorrect. We finally got an LG rep that connected us to Forward Air who is apparently doing the "last mile" delivery. Forward Air stated that they didn't receive the tv on Friday and therefore couldn't deliver it on Monday, but they failed to explain why they didn't call to reschedule.

We are now setup to receive the tv sometime tomorrow morning. Supposedly.

If you haven't been contacted by the delivery group then you may be in a similar situation to me. Call LG and get them to talk to that group while you're on the line. Don't let them tell you that you can call them yourself and get tracking via your phone number or order number. It won't work in my experience.
