I also don't use it much. I found it didn't add that much more immersion and it is a hassle bolting and unbolting to my desk.
I prefer a modern Xbox / Dual Sense controller most of the time as the feedback on the triggers gives me much more useful information on how the car is doing.

If you don't have somewhere permanent to mount it, you may not get it out as often as you'd think.
