Don't have a P7Pro, but Otterbox Defender is a very nice case. Had one for my old P2XL.

I am very fond of cases that have built-in screen protectors.

Yes, it is a heavy-duty case. It will protect the phone extremely well, but the cost of that is weight and size.

Personally, I would rather have a case that works than a case that is light.

I never used the belt clip - fortunately, it's removable.

OtterBox Defenders were great when phones didn't have 10" freaking screens (okay slight exaggeration). These phones are heavy anyway, can't imagine adding the weight of this case to it. Last phone I owned and actually loved was Pixel 4a. Before that iPhone SE (old one with headphone jack). I hate these large and heavy phones. Can't use one handed and so heavy they hurt my hands after a short time.

OtterBox Defenders are very protective cases though. My iPhone SE had one on it....and it went through Hell and back and my phone (even the screen) was still like new when I quit using it.
