Does anyone know where this is made? I don't see how those slats will hold a heavy king matress without sagging, you definitely should have a solid base or something else.
Here is my take, I bought a very similar one (the one I got was Made in Europe) and it has very solid parts, and it has a lift up base that you can store stuff since I don't have enough room to go with drawers on sides, plus it prevents you from having night stands if you have drawers. I don't think you can expect much from $250 bed including headboard, I would probably get it, and make it sturdier with a solid base, perhaps low profile boxspring or even just plywood.
Current price is $26.56 lower than previous FP deal price of $265.70
I ordered at the higher price and used their chat service to get an adjustment. Their customer service has been excellent for me lately. Thank you for posting.

Have you received yours? What is your review? Worth the price?
I set this up today and it's got a ton of parts. Took about three hours or so. The quality is shockingly good for this price. When you go to build it, make sure you gave an electric screwdriver with a long 4" 4mm hex bit. Without this, I think you could spend two days putting it together with traditional Allen wrench. Building the drawers will make you feel like a dummy because they require a very specific orientation but after one ya get it.
Edit: reading the reviews, heavier folks my want to add supplemental 1x4 wood slats. In addition, I wish I had used thread locker on the frame screws seems they can back out over time particularly during adult nap time.
