Lowest ever price so far. Possibly the cheapest and best everyday driver with 12th Gen CPU, FHD IPS touch display and upgradable memory. Only drawbacks:
no USB-C charging
no backlit keyboard
portability (pesonally prefer 14")

But at this price, these are what the best you could get for a brand new.

That has non-upgradable 8GB RAM, if you can live with.
This Intel is also superior in terms of processing power and supports touchscreen.

The only better things about it are smaller size, USB-C charging and backlit KB, where this Ideapad 1 doesn't offer.

This is a dam good laptop. I had no issue running a few tabs 8, plus youtube in background. The only issue I had was getting out of S mode. My friend was able to help with that. The camera for zoom calls is decent. My supervisor was praising for how good the video and audio sounded. I got it at $330 two weeks ago so I'm do a price match. Thank You!

I plan to buy a laptop for my daughter soon. Mostly just for college work no gaming. I dont know $&@ about processors. I read the newer i3 is better than this older i5. Idk if that's true. I can get the older 2020 laptop refurbished grade A from a reputable company for $300 (specs below). If I upgrade this slick deal to be 16gb too, which is the better deal?
