CVS likes to have 200 things on sale every week and it doesn't work. Most of the deals aren't very good and it's too confusing and time consuming to try to look at that many items. Why don't they cut it down to 50 good deals on things that we want and will buy? It would be easier for CVS to double check the deals and make sure that they are correct. Also, CVS needs to reset the digital coupons every week if they're going to advertise that the item has a digital coupon. If you use the digital coupon on the first week of the ad, it won't be available on the second week of the ad even though the ad says that the item has a digital coupon. Come on, P&G. Is one digital coupon a week too much to ask for? I don't want to go to your dumb website and print coupons that expire in 2 seconds. I just want to clip the digital coupon on the CVS website every week for the item that I want to buy.

Does anyone remember which of these 2 eq's were available first?
2/2 degree, dove, or dove men dry spray
5/2 any dove men products

I always clip all available eq's as soon as they're available. Usually the first one clipped is the first one to come off.

Before the app was updated, I could scan an item in my app and the first eq to show was the first one clipped. Doesn't seem to work that way anymore.

TIA!

Do not get caught off guard in the store! There has been an update to the app that makes it close to impossible to change between accounts. The only way you are safe is if you have 'auto updates' turned off on your phone so your apps don't update until you allow the updates. Even then, I don't know how long CVS will let you go before not opening the app without getting the update.

This will apply whether you have more than one account yourself or whether you are sharing your phone services with someone you are shopping with who does not live in your household.

Has anyone had issues with trying to log off your CVS app to log in with a different card? It looks they have taken away the "manage your card" on the app.

So far, to be able to look at a second card, I have had to take the following steps on my iphone:

...clear cache
...delete app
...turn off phone
...wait five minutes
...turn phone on
...download app
...scan second card

The app will likely show the second card number, but the coupons for the first card! If this happens, repeat all of the above steps one or two more times, until you get both the second card number and the coupons for the second card.

Someone has supposedly found a different, easier, workaround if you have an android, but I don't have an android, so I can't speak to how or if it works.

Here's what was shared with me for those with an android phone, just know that I haven't tested it and can't test it.

If you have an android phone, press the cvs icon on your phone and click extracare and it takes you back to the old way to link your card.

Do let us know if it works. I'm thinking about pulling out an old android phone I think we might still have here to use, especially if this works.

FYI, there are reports on some other sites that clearanced CoverGirl items are working for the 'buy 3, get $10 ecb' offer. I even saw someone ask one of the people who posted it get ridiculed by that person for asking.

Since the online price of the items already showed the 50% off price and the item working for the deal, I asked the shift what she thought and if we could test it and she agreed to do so. Bottom line, the items that were 50% off did not work and I did not get my $10 ecb on my receipt or in my account. The shift said she'd print the $10 that one time, since she had also thought it reasonable it might work.
I did $10 covergirl and $6 Maybelline deal online and picked up at my home CVS store.
All the items I bought were 50% off sale priced products, but they counted toward ECB offer.
- Covergirl liquid foundation $3.65 x 3 (got $10 ecb)
- Maybelline lip color $4.25 x 2 (got $6)

Coupons applied
- $3 covergirl face DQ
- $5 covergirl any DQ
- $3 Maybelline DQ
- $3 Maybelline CRT
- 50% off (sale price discount, not CRT)
- 50% off select cosmetics (sale price discount, not CRT)
- $5 ECB

Tax $1.49

I have attached images of my order.
50% off priced items show sale prices on website, and once you put them in your shopping cart, they show full prices. Then gives you 50% discount under the saving/coupon area.
It might be easier to see how it worked out by seeing the screen shots.
I took some screenshots of covergirl products showing that they qualify for ECB offer (prices shown on those images are the prices after all the coupons were applied. ECB not applied yet).

By the way, $5 ECB I used is still showing in my account, and I tried to use it off course Wink
Didn't work shake head

Also, my app is stuck with card #1's ECBs and coupons. Deleting app gave me the option to scan card #2 but it is still showing #1 card's rewards etc. App shows #2 card number though.
Might have to keep trying your method. No change so far.

After I posted that, I found other reports that buying online for in store pick up was working for the clearance product last week.

I saw something else where some things showed as being only 'in store' eligible. I wonder if the deal will work with the clearance products by buying online for in store pick up this week.

Need advice. Did the buy 3 get $10 (CG). Didn't get $10 EB. I see that many say 'don't go straight to corporate,' so should I return, call CS, or try to rectify at a local store?

You can try to address it at the local store, but if you bought anything that was on clearance, no one is going to issue you the $10 ecb.

I watched a woman try to sweet talk the shift supervisor into giving her the $10 ecb, but he very sweetly (right back at her) pointed out that one of the items she bought was 50% off and the signs clearly state clearance is not included.

I have an android phone but I tried and could not get it to work to link another card. Now I'm getting a message to update again! I'm afraid that will only make it worse. So I haven't done it. Is it really necessary to accept an update?
