There are Amex card discounts and other significant Dell discounts right now that can cannot be mentioned. I would follow the discussion for this thread if you need advice

https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/p...ideo-cards

https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/p...ideo-cards Expired, now $569.99

If you need a card for 1440p, you can't go wrong with either. The 12gb super is plenty fast, but if you can spend more, go for the 16gb Ti. It will probably extend the time you own it, and you will get most of the delta back when you resell it in the future

Got the 4070Ti Super yesterday, no Amex but got $85 cashback. $715 net including tax, seems like a decent value. Just in time for Shadow of the Erdtree.

OP, I'm seeing $569.99, not $539.99 for the 4700 12gb. Did the price go up, or is the $539.99 in your title maybe a typo?

Might want to correct title to 4070 TI Super.

I don't see how the 4070 Ti is a good deal at $750, when we've seen it go as low as $700 recently (link) and even $650 earlier this year (link).

Correction: I thought this was for the 4070 Ti, but it's for the 4070 Ti Super. My bad.

Right, but that thread doesn't mention the Amex rebate or the 12% available at cashback websites.

You were wrong in the thread you posted and repeat the error in this thread. This is the 16gb version, not the 12gb version and should be considered vs a 4080. You can get this 4070 tis for less than $650 after rebates. The performance is similar to a $1000 4080 making this a bargin.

Fyi. Super getting similar hash rate as the Ti Super for me. Also the pny seem to always be on sale due to poor cooling in comparison to other cards.

I stand corrected, in that I had misread this post, thinking it was referring to the 4070 Ti. I corrected my mistake.

However, I will add that, from the reviews I've seen, the 4070 Ti Super sits between the 4070 Ti and the 4080 performance wise but closer to the former than the latter.

Also, what exactly was I wrong about in the other thread?

That's not true.
I have owned many all three, multiples over many years. MSI is the least reliable, ASUS has the worst customer service, and PNY is extremely light on frills but will get the job done well.

Right now using a PNY 4080S that has been nothing but fantastic. Great temps great noise control. If I'm being critical bad parts are:
- software sucks compared to other companies but there's little point in trying to OC a 4080S. the software works, just very basic.I don't use it at all.
- there is no rgb other than an always-on white PNY logo that's about 1x3". I fixed this nicely by taping a piece of purple cellophane over it. Works great, very secure, now it matches the color of my system ligths exactly.
