The purpose of the one in the OP is to use the phone while underwater.. the whole idea with easy accessible side buttons are to use the camera functions since underwater capacitive touch doesn't really work.

I have this onn case (bought 2 years ago but I think it's the same one) and it works well to keep phones dry but it doesn't float. It actually sinks fast, I almost lost my phone in the ocean.

I got one from the dollar section at Target a few weeks ago. Kept the phone dry on the white-water rafting trip where it was subjected to splashes and constant wetness, but I didn't try it underwater.

Doesn't fit my 13 pro max with small thin case. Fits without case and works well. You'll have to really slide the phone as far as you can upward to enable upward swipe.

You have to make sure enough air is trapped. Did a couple tests in the pool.
