I was about to pop on here and say something like "$399 is bonkers overpriced for something like this" but then it turned into "ooh that the top is a lid that opens!"
If that top was a drawer instead of a lid I would buy it. Most likely people leave stuff on the top and having to remove everything to open and search for something is impractical, especially considering there's no reason it couldn't be a pull out drawer instead.
Bought it last year on sale, it's a decent deal for $200 or less.
The top lid thing is kinda dumb in practice, because you end up stowing things on top... and if you ever want to get under the lid, you have to remove everything, open the lid, and then put things back.
So I just use the shelves underneath, and the top, and the section inside isn't even useful to me for long term storage, because it's too inconvenient to use.
I think if you put a power squid in there, drilling a hole through the side, then mount up some chargers around it, that could be a useful purpose, but it's kinda silly there isn't a hole drilled in to that space already.
Still, the thing rolls amazing, the casters are very nice. And the top surface is smooth and can take a beating.
The only other suggestion I have is it'd be nice if the handle could be mounted on the front, too. I like to store mine against the wall facing forward, and I'd rather just grab the handle there to pull it away from the wall, then use the corners to push it around my space.

I agree, even for "heavy duty". Gotta pay for quality.
