According to Terms, discount is only available on Unlimited Plan for $50 or Unlimited+Plan for $60. I confirmed this by adding the $30 plan to the cart and there was no discount. Need to update the OP.

OP's price quote is for the "Unlimited+" plan (aka $60).
Also the price quote is per month, eg "BYOD 50% off for 12 months $30.00" but the price is locked for 1 year. Then it will revert back to normal price. So its a year deal.

about 5-10 dollars. is standard.
the bare min is like 5 dollars for voice/text only may be possible if you jump through hoops and isn't worth it.
data itself is what is expensive since we can save here. the best we can do is 15 dollars for unlimited data if we jump through hoops and 12+ month plans are very rare here and will need to conduct carrier hacking which many oldies like me are doing when opportunity arises. even after this total by verzion is still shady with reports of promotion not applying.
Remember. never be loyal to any company else you will get Fuked. use google voice as main line and then use any carrier you want as the one attached.
buying new phones on a discount is now very very hard as the MSRP are very high for some reason when they aren't worth that price at all. TBH apple should make an apple voice service but Google voice is free while theirs not likely.
so only reason to switch carriers to any of the main providers is phone deals or huge promotions that almost make their plans comparable to our MVNO deals = hard if solo and if have huge family not worth the headache.
