According to Terms, discount is only available on Unlimited Plan for $50 or Unlimited+Plan for $60. I confirmed this by adding the $30 plan to the cart and there was no discount. Need to update the OP.
Offer applies to new customers who enroll by July 31, 2024 on the Unlimited Plan ($50) or the Unlimited+ Plan ($60), and remain active on an eligible plan for the promotional period, plus taxes and fees. Limited time offer. After twelve (12) consecutive months, promo becomes subject to cancellation at Total by Verizon's discretion. Available exclusively online and in Total by Verizon retail stores. Activation fee may apply. Bring Your Own Device requires a compatible, unlocked device and SIM. In times of traffic, your data may be temporarily slower than other traffic. Additional terms may apply.
Note: You must use an Unlocked phone as a locked Verizon phone will show as locked on Total by Verizon and will be blocked from activation. *Spoofing the imei will only provision your 5G UW speeds to 30mbps until your Verizon phone unlocks and the correct imei is inserted.
OP's price quote is for the "Unlimited+" plan (aka $60).
Also the price quote is per month, eg "BYOD 50% off for 12 months $30.00" but the price is locked for 1 year. Then it will revert back to normal price. So its a year deal.

They are not considering the 50% off your bill rather they are considering the multi-line discount as the discounted price.
The CS reps are all from Philippines and come across as if 50% off promo never existed. If you try to explain the issue to them, they keep repeating the same statement, it is like pounding your head against the wall.
Any suggestions on similar conversations with CS?
