- Smokey Bones

- The Greene Turtle

- Wahlburgers

That was with us sharing the fries and ordering water to drink lol
And now that they finally are feeling the pinch with lower-than-expected earnings (recently), ONLY now are they trying to address affordability.
I personally stopped eating there because of the arrogance...

I have to scroll through pages and pages to find an answer to a question or maybe hope that I can see if someone that was able to replicate the deal but then there I am reading about something completely not relevant to this deal.

I did the smashburger one anywho, signed up for a new account and they told me I get free fries but can't see any way to redeem it. Oh well.

If labor and materials are expensive, shareholders still need to make a profit (this will never change), so the only alternatives are to try to stay cheap but squeak some profit out through sheer scale and volume (ie, White Castle, McDonald's) or pricegouge the UMC (Five Guys, probably Panera?). And either way, almost zero mom and pop restaurants still exist in this climate.
Frustrating but we did it to ourselves and we'll keep doing it
