It did show out of stock online. It showed pickup today from a Google search.(see picture that I posted). I figured it was worth a try to go to the store and check. I gave them the item number and it showed they had one. They went to the back and retrieved it for me and loaded it into my truck. Score!

Sounds like I need to keep the box! I have read about all the problems with LG fridges but I am willing to risk it for the price I paid. Every fridge I have owned has had its problems. I fix them myself when they break.

The best that I have found now days is from a Google search and when it says "Pick up today" it is time to head to the store and check in person with the item number in hand so they can look it up. This fridge was not on display, but they had one in the back.

Called several Lowes near Atlanta and they said it's discontinue. With such deep discount I am sure there is something wrong with these models. Buy with the protection plan and that would be a solid deal if you can get it.

LG linear compressors last 5 years, they die right after protection plan expires. Mine just died. At $899, I would buy still.
