This is one of the best Knipex tools I own as a homeowner. At this price I'm considering a second one because I love it so much. I don't use it daily at home, obviously, but get so much satisfaction using it and that makes it worth the splurge for me.

I would just buy the Snap On version PWCS7ACF for $60. It is only $16 more.

It just depends on your needs. Snap-on generally tends to be more oriented towards automotive.

These Knipex do lack the crimpers (one great reason to keep the $20-30 Milwaukees around), but they do everything else exceptionally well.. they're good forged/hard steel, with nice tight tolerances, and a good shearing action for cutting - and great pliers functions that are helpful for home/vehicle wiring work like pulling/twisting wire, especially modern NM-B.

Oh I got several Knipex pliers sitting right next to all my Snap On pliers. Just on these pliers I'd spend the extra.

Still considering buying this and keeping the Milwaukee as a backup, but it's not even every day on the job that I need wire strippers tbh

I'll help you out bud!~ its kind of lowest price in years and they rare go on sale. Buying nice tools sometimes is just worth it to enjoy those moments when you do get to just 'strip wires' or 'twist something'. Does everyone need this tool, oh hell no-- e.g. klein wire strippers are amazing and cost 1/3 of the price even with these on sale. But there's something legit satisfying snipping sh*t with knipex, its buttery smooth and clippy Big Grin. If you know, you know. Let the hater's hate, some people just aren't into hand tools, nbd
