GrubHub+ is pretty much useless now a days with 'zero' coupons and discounts and highly inflated (I have seen almost 40%+ more) pricing for the same items in a restaurant compared to in-store pricing. Not to mention, added tips for the drivers.

My Last GrubHub+ order of $62 it said I 'saved' $9.62 with Grubhub+, but there already a 10-30% markup per item than the dine-in/pickup price. And I still had $6.15 of 'other' fees: $4.15 'service' fee and $2 driver benefit fee (this is not the driver tip).

Items: $51.85
Delivery Fee with Prime: $0.00
Other fees with Prime: $6.15
Tax: $5.22
Driver Tip: $2
Total: $65.22

It's all smoke and mirrors. Delivery is free, but there is this other fee, wink wink.

I already registered for the one year free deal previously. Today logged in to order food and received the popup saying it's now free with Prime. However, ONLY the delivery fee is free. They do charge service feee, this appears on the line item as "Service Fee". You won't pay more than $9.00.

what I meant to say is that there is a 5% discount when using pickup.

A info in case some people don't know. GH have price match guaranteed where after you place an order, pick up or delivery, you have the option to send them a screenshot of their competitor like Uber eats with cheaper price and they'll give you $5 plus the price difference. You'll get a coupon promo code of the discount to be used. I recently placed an order for chipotle and there's a $3 difference where Uber eats pick up price is the same as in store price, so I ended with a $8 discount code.
