I got one that was doa. Got an exchange, and it is basically a big toy RC. Imagine one of those crappy RCs from 5 below but huge. It controls poorly when it's not losing signal. I thought the steering actuator was broken and replaced it, it was just not turning every time I turned. It breaks as easy as one of them $5 RCs as well. Also none of the parts are standard so when they break it's just you rigging it together. If you already have Hart batteries and think you'll get $24 enjoyment out of it, go for it. But my advice is to just wait for the scy16101 to go on sale on AliExpress and buy that for a few bucks more.(It's sold under a bunch of names)
Fixing this Hart RC all the time made me realize I may as well get one with more standard parts and grabbed the brushless of the scy one and have loved it so much I bought a second.

For $24 I'll finally give it a try. Even the discounted $49 it was at for a while seemed like too much

I've got a couple of Arrma's for my son and I. I was thinking this might be adequate for when friends or family come over and want to join in on the fun. Do you think even at $24 it's not worth it?

Is it really just high or low on the controller? Can you not go slow for indoor use? The videos online for this thing are not great and they are cookie cutter paid videos.

Your can also get them slightly cheaper on the hart tools website for like $21, but shipping isn't free till $100. Didn't charge taxes
