Thumbs up, seems like a good deal...that $1500 price seems crazy to me for what it looks like though.

The size of that thing is great for 3 or 4-year-olds, but at that age, they can't handle most NERF guns. I think there's a reason they're unloading these so cheap.

Same here, but i still cant understand how it can be this cheap even at regular price $246. Or did we get accustomed to inflation prices. Because i know i cant even build half of this for that price, not to mention all the other plastic pieces that are specially made.
You could definitely build this for $250 it's just some two by fours and one by sixes minus the custom plastic pieces and tarps. But labor has a value and this seems like a great deal regardless

I think this is more for your 3-4 year old to hide while you shoot them

There are 2 other smaller sets at Menard's that look like stand alone additions that match this set:

This set looks too small even for the kids they have in the pictures. Maybe this is great for super smart babies or midgets. Or a good place for little Billie to hide from a whooping.

Well it's way too small for 7 year olds. My guess is they over produced something that has no target market.

This comes in 2 big boxes. about 4x6. You could not build this for $250 the hardware alone would be over $100. I mostly built it myself over about 3 days. The instructions are pretty good but take your time reading them. You can build it in pieces mostly then move to location, I did it with a garden cart. One piece of advice assemble climbing grips before attaching walls to structure, also the hex bolts can strip easily. Most of the screws are #2 square drive which is nice. Instructions say rated for up to 9 kids at 150lbs. It is not a commercial play structure but also easily 1/3 the price of any DIY structure out there. I had 5 12 year old boys playing on it no problem. MSRP is crazy but the Menard's price is reasonable. They seem to have a decent warranty on parts just make sure to take pictures of lot numbers off the boxes.

The website is figuring in the value of the mail in rebate.

Could you add a slide to this instead of one of the staircases?
