I'd like to get a Bambu 3D printer but man I just can't go back to 2018 build volumes...... Many companies are coming out with multi color this year so the one thing that Bambu has over other offerings just won't be there very soon! All modern printers can print well and print fast these days! My K1Max has been flawless, I kind of want multi color but not until someone comes out with a solution that is less wasteful!

Thank you for this information, I really appreciate it!
If money is not a thing, I'd get a P1S + AMS unless you think there's a value in an additional $500 for X1.

However, if it's something you're not sure on; those Creality Ender S1 are a nice way to get into it at a lower cost (about $200 - $300?). But it does get annoying 'recalibrating' it often...so it can get a bit more tedious. Not only that, stock it prints a lot slower but can be upgraded with a few platforms including Raspberry Pi.

When they announced the sale I got mad because I just paid $849 for the P1S combo, but they didn't change the price. Now I'm mad because there's no sale haha

Any suggestions from P1P/P1S owners on spare parts or accessories that are worth ordering at the same time as the printer because they need replaced fairly often?
I've replaced a .4 nozzle and extruder on my x1 already. Most certainly user error but backup nozzles are awesome. Also the 4-1 ptfe tube connector is better than anything I could print.

Where did you get it at $849? I've been waiting for this sale for months. It's been $950 on their website since November.

There is a rumor of a new flagship bambu printer coming in 2024 so I'm waiting. Also the K2
That's not a rumor. Bambu Lab confirmed this themselves. There was a contest on MakerWorld and the winners were told they will be awarded the the next flagship printer which Bambu Lab confirmed is coming later this year.

Just bought the x1c, the price match will put an A1 mini next to the X1C.

Nothing really, at this point they are coming up on a couple of years without anything but software updates without making any hardware updates. Sale is likely to clear out older unit from stock. They have refused to build larger volume printers as well, trapping their customers in a smaller print bed size until they make enough money, then they will finally come out with one.

P1S is their cheaper enclosed unit, adding in the real ability to do ABS and ASA, or other materials that need a full enclosure. But it downscales the screen to a tiny unit that in today's market is really a cheap way for them to pass off their own profit on the customer.

The original AMS unit is OK but has been plagued with issues since the start. They have made some improvements, but if you are using multicolor then you generally waste more trash filament than you actually use in your print. Smaller prints with multiple colors could actually waste twice as much filament due to the color change process than is used in the print.

Creality has a competitor coming out in the next few months. The K2 and their own AMS system. No one really has details yet other than it looks like a 5-color changer instead of a 4-color like Bambu. No pricing info yet either.

Morally, Bambu is using open source software and hardware and has not released their source code. This is in violation of open source terms. Basically they took the 3D community's work, slapped their brand on it and refuse to contribute back. Also, you CANNOT use wifi/network printing without going through their cloud. That means somewhere in a database is every print your machine has ever made, unless you walk a USB stick from your PC to the printer and don't connect it to your network. May not seem like a big deal, but last year NY tried to make people license 3D printers and could have sent subpoenas to Bambu to ask for your personal info and every print you ever made... then try to apply laws against you or tax you based on what you have made.

As long as the sale is live they should price match. I have always found their staff/managers to be very accommodating. Likely their own sale price will be even lower though, especially if you have their in-house credit card which often gives like 5-10% off.
