In case you have a small balance remaining, I just found out the minimum amount to reload Amazon gift cards have been raised to $5.00 (previously $1).

These are very hard to liquidate unless you plan to convert to something like Amazon or Walmart giftcards. I'm still trying to spend $300 because so many retailers reject them. They can't be added to PayPal or Google Pay to use in-store. Some utilities may accept them, but it's a lot of work to spend.

Please be aware that if you plan to use these virtual Visa cards to buy Walmart gift cards, you can only use them to buy physical gift cards to be delivered to your home. You cannot use them to buy Walmart eGift cards.

Not so long ago, Walmart switched its delivery company from FedEx to a no-name company. Unfortunately I was not aware of that until it was too late as I never had any issue with physical gift cards delivered by FedEx nor had anything stolen from my door (I work from home).

Last week, I ordered a physical gift card from walmart.com. This new delivery company stole my gift card from the envelope in Tennessee during a 3-hour stop shown on the tracking information. When the empty envelope was delivered to my door in Texas, I immediately reported the stolen card to walmart.com. I was promised to receive the replacement card but nothing was sent after 3 days. When I called again, I learned that Walmart did not deactivate the gift card I reported stolen and still let the thief use it at a store in Tennessee 3 hours after I reported it stolen. Now they have refused to send replacement card claiming that the card has been used after delivery. I have made 5 calls to walmart.com including their managers and their gift card department, they still refused to replace the stolen gift card.

This appears to be an inside job and an organized crime most likely involving walmart.com and delivery company as a team because the thief knew to use the gift card only after the status was marked as delivered and walmart.com purposely did not deactivate the gift card after I reported it as stolen. I am trying very hard to fight this organized crime as one person against the entire organization. Any suggestion and help would be greatly appreciated.

Please do not order anything from walmart.com.

It's like a 4% reward on your credit card. It's good for ordering things on shady websites. Or to give to the dad that you don't care to see but feel guilty enough to care to gift something.
It's not 4%, it's $4.
If you want to get 4% you have to spend $100 and that's still only 4$, and you have to buy multiple cards to get more.. I am genuinely curious what secrets people are talking about that gives you better rewards without headache of carrying many cards with risk of losing them.

I already PM you and included a screenshot from 2015. It's pretty obvious I'm doing stuff I cannot do on regular credit card.

Regarding this deal, people can have different rewards from different credit card. My BoA gives me 3% cash back on online purchases which includes paypal that this merchant accepts. $4 discount on $100 is 4%, so combined with BoA I'm getting around the exact math of 6.88% discount. Again, that's just icing on the cake. I'd buy it if it were $100 for $100 without any discount or cash back.

Is the gift card balance checker working for anyone on their site (https://www.giftcards.com/balance )? I keep getting the following error message when trying to check the balance of a Visa e-gift card that I just bought.

Sorry, i don't understand how is that related to OPs deal? Regarding that, the promo looks like only for first 3 months. And you don't get cash back, you get points that you have to spend somewhere else.
I am the OP.

I save on a discounted Visa card and at the same time, I earn towards $250 in points. Not sure why that's difficult to understand.

You can convert SYWR into gift cards including Visa cards. Everyone's promo for SYWR citi is different.

OK so you can use PayPal (though CC) to buy this I get it. I thought visa gift cards could only be bought by debit cards.

You can use a cash back portal to make the purchase.
You can use a credit card that has cash back and/or cash back promo.
Supermarkets used to limit purchases of Gc to debit card use but that was a while ago.

I don't get it. Is this for people who don't have good credit. What's the big deal about $4 off $100?
I had $300 in utility bills to pay. 10 minutes work to get $15

Again, it's $4.05 discount so times 3 that's $12.15 and not $15.

You can get additional cash back from cash back sites. But I just pay this with Paypal which BoA will give me 3%.

I'm also curious, would you mind PMing me? I genuinely fail to fathom how one can leverage a prepaid in a way that's more beneficial than a 1:1 amount of cash or credit.

For leftover balances, I run utilities like AT&T or ConEdison which often have no minimum.
