More then enough. Pretty much any computer will fit your criteria. This one would be able to decently play games as well.

Also, if your school doesn't have Office license for you to use, I'd ask them if you can use Office 2021 instead of 365. Then buy it from.Groupon for $22

Good price but I feel like 0.7 inch and 3.2 lbs is not thin or light enough to not include a usb-a port.

Yes, the SIM card slot will include a SIM tray for easy insertion of the SIM card. I've previously tested Mint Mobile and Visible Wireless with a laptop; both are affordable options. I don't believe they will throttle laptop users, but to be safe, I used Mullvad VPN, which also tunnels DNS traffic. This helps hide the MAC address that identifies the network card, making it difficult to determine whether you're using a mobile modem or a computer.

Very cool, thats a ultra portable that has a graphics card that is about half the performance of a 3050 TI, so you could still get around 30-40 FPS in a lot of games on 1080 resolution.

My school has requirements for a laptop and I was wondering if it met all the requirements? If not are the requirements it's missing severe? I believe it's only missing Intel, but is that a deal breaker?

Intel i5, i7
RAM - 8GB -16GB
Hard Drive - 500GB
Wi-Fi 6(2019),6E(2020)
Webcam (built in or external)

Windows 11
Microsoft Office 365
Acrobat viewer
VLC Player
Firefox and Chrome
Examplify - Testing Software

Looks like a decent set of specs but I'm always so hesitant to consider anything made by HP. Being tech support for all my friends and family and doing IT work on the side, I've diagnosed and repaired a bunch of laptops. Kinda gave me a feel for what brands I would see a lot and ones that I never had to fix. HP was a brand I constantly saw. Now maybe it's because they tend to be popular due to their brand recognition and relatively cheap price for the specs they put in that I end up seeing them more often. But on the other hand, a lot of the issues tended to be design flaws and cheap hardware which is indicative of cost cutting and explains a lot when you consider the cheaper price. Not to mention that HP loves to try to get you to subscribe to their myriad of new subscriptions like their tech support or their printer subscription service. I just had to tell my friend's boss that his relatively new HP was honestly not worth fixing given the issue it had and the cost of repair vs cost of new better laptop. I'm not saying every HP laptop is bad and will definitely have issues, or that any other brand is immune to issues. But I find that other brands have a moderately better track record for reliability. Personally, I love Lenovo laptops. Some definitely could be better but their track record of old think pads basically being like Toyota Corollas in laptop form shows a lot of their general design reliability. This is a long winded comment to essentially say that while I'm not saying this particular model is bad and will guaranteed have issues, but in this price range there are way better options with similar or better specs and a much better customer service experience if something does go wrong.

Yeah, HP reliability is a thing. A bigger thing to me is they soldered EVERYTHING they could - the SSD, the Wifi card, the memory - all non replaceable. I find NVMe drives a bit of a dice roll, suspect it's due to heat. I have no interest in guessing which drive HP picked and its durability. And since it's brick when it does fail, I'll pass.

This. I swore off HP years ago. When their own customer service rep asks to call you back from their personal phone so they can spend an hour complaining about how bad HP is I tend to take note.

This is a good tip, also changing TTL from 64 to 65 might help. It does for tethering anyway.

The Dragonfly line is the more thin and light oriented business laptop with less user repair/upgradeability. Thinner laptops also generally have lesser fans and can throttle the cpu in high load usage, but not saying for this line/laptop specifically as IDK. Therefore I wont recommend gaming on any thin style laptops.

The elitebook line is the business / repairable oriented one. There are to be more parts available to replace internals.

I prefer lenovo's business laptops but im sure this is good too for typical personal and school use.

I don't think you want to do this if the SIM is in the laptop itself. TTL drops every time the packet hops devices, that's why when tethering you want to set it to 65. When it hops through the phone it drops to 64, making it look like the phone itself sent the packet.

OH, that is wise. Thank you.

Never hears of this model. I just need to do labs in virtual box to learn. I actually need 32 gigs and a 2 Tb drive.
