Good deal but I'm waiting for a better sale on the Brushless Version (Model # 2525-20) which has 30% higher RPM under load and 12 variable speed settings (RPM adjustments from 27,500 to 5,000)

Happy hunting! I will keep an eye out for that one for me - this price point worked perfectly for me for a gift for a light user for Father's Day Smilie

One of the things I loved most when I joined was how helpful people were; congratulations on your attempt to shrink the community--if I were new to this site I probably wouldn't want to post again.

But how will he feel powerful if not being sarcastic and not putting other people down?

Perfect timing. I'm looking for a Dremel for smallish home projects, which is recommended the most that's kind of a midrange model?

Wave If you believe something is a repost, it's best to mod alert it and let us look into it. In this case, the older thread didn't have any new posts in over 5 days (per our repost guidelines) when this thread was created, so this thread is fine.

I'd rather something great get reposted multiple times by members excited to share a deal. When something is a true repost, we can handle it efficiently if it's mod alerted.

Carbon brushes spark and break when dropped. Milwaukee has a "brushless" version that uses magnets, but it goes for a $30 premium. I'm guessing they are phasing out this version.

Serious question - Can I use an attachment on this to file my dog's nails? Or is it too overpowered for that? The dremel tools made specifically for that purpose are weak AF!

I dont use this particular one for it, but i have a wired version that is not made for dog nails that i use on my dog, works great. I was eye balling this just for that reason, a cord gets in the way.
