Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

Did you buy iP11 from Total or Metro?
The cheap deal from Total, one was just activated & the other has 3 weeks to go for unlock.

That's because the deal is only available in-store with activation at Walmart.
Order online from Straight Talk website, much simpler.

Yes finally figured out. Ordering directly from ST. Thanks

Yeah I got 1 from Total as well, took 1 freaking week to activate (6 hours in total on the call with CS because they all don't know what they're doing). I'd prefer doing the Metro deal because for $75 I would get $160GC at Apple but for god sake I cannot place order with them (I only have 1 phone with Metro before and I've tried every ways I could)

Metro ordering system is just frustrating & now with the 12 month unlock it's not worth the trouble.

I believed wireless harmless too but eventually came to the truth, no longer use it,
So what are you doing in this thread which talks about a cell phone deal? Are you like those people who jumped into a thread about Coke/Pepsi deals just to say that they're bad for your health?

I only opt in for the trade in flip at Apple, 75$ spent for $160GC. If you know how to order Metro with high success rate please let me know

I have the phones listed below (and a bunch of functioning but obsolete non-LTE phones). I'm currently using the S24 and the Nord N30. The others are "spare". I'm forcing myself to quit buying more spare phones no matter how good a deal they are, because by the time I actually need to use one it probably will be obsolete technology wise or software wise.

got one, might sell the iphone honestly...

long story but I cheaped out since I'm broke and took it to a repair shop to get fixed, ended up with a cheap LCD screen, no true tone, battery died got it replaced since BB won't touch it since I changed the screen, aftermarket battery, no optimized charging nothing.

feel used... imao Apple doesn't play around.

So I got a 13 pro with a fake screen, fake battery and broken camera housing that happened on its own.

Yeah let me just get a cheap droid for now.

Actually, I'm a Dealaholic and not a Phone Addict. My phone sits idle on the couch most of the time, I use Tracfone which deducts minutes/texts/data from their buckets and I typically use less than 100 minutes/150 texts/100MB a month. I'm on my laptop computer a lot though, but that's a habit from having worked with computers for 35 years (1977 to 2012). I'm not a person who likes to attend social gatherings or the outdoors. I used to fly a small plane as a hobby, but had to give it up a few years ago. Being retired with lots of time on my hands, I enjoy spending time on SD looking for deals, and on another site where people discuss financial deals.
