Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

Yes, hardware-wise all the versions are identical, but AT&T has a nasty habit of excluding the versions sold by their competitors.
Exactly, there's still no way of knowing when - or if - it will get added to the list.

Seemingly pretty short-sighted on their part--you would think they would be happy to have people coming over from a competitor--even if those folks are using a phone branded by the competitor!

Have you run the IMEI of your Straight Talk Motor G Power (2024) through AT&T IMEI Checker? https://www.att.com/buy/byod/iden...sByod=true

They may not be short-sighted at all if their exclusion spurs potential buyers to buy the phones that they sell.

BTW phone is feeling faster/smoother now that it's settled in, definitely worth the price.

No offense taken, just calling out a stupid post.
What is stupid about my post? I knew that you had posted some helpful tips but I couldn't decipher property due to missing periods and commas.

ATT Check on Straight Talk one says IMEI not found in background red letters. defaults to Incompatible device

found IMEI of unlocked model on Ebay ATT check says its Stylus 5g 2024. Cricket ATT version says same thing.

Funny, I have a 2023 stylus 5g XT2315-1 and IS on the approved network list yet the IMEI check says incompatible.

Where did you buy your XT2315-1 ?

The IMEI of my Metro Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) - model number XT2315-1 on the box - passed AT&T IMEI Check, showing CONTINUE meaning I can proceed with buying a BYOP AT&T SIM.
