Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

Do you actually have the phone? What makes you think it has only 4GB of RAM. People who actuall have received the phone posted that it has 8GB of RAM.

People in this thread who have the phone say that theirs have 8GB of real RAM + 4GB of Virtual RAM. I'll leave it to them to discuss with you about the difference from your phone.

Too many people confused between the regular Moto G and G Power. Groundhogs day as this was debunked earlier in this thread.

How can people not read that it's 8GB listed right on Straight Talk website? LMAO

I just ordered the phone last night, I was charged on the credit card, got no confirmation email, i checked spam folder. but I can still log in and see my email address is correct on the site. is this normal, did other people have to wait too?

also, any guesses as to when this will be shipped, other people are saying its backordered but the site makes no mention of that for me, so far.

I believe he was referring to having the troll provide proof of his outlandish claim.

They are just now creating labels for phones ordered 5 days ago. I assume yours will take that long too. I can't even check my order status on the page half the time but I did get a confirmation email in spam.

The phone I received had 4 GB ram boost turned on by default. On the screen you mentioned, it shows device memory 8 GB, ram boost 4 GB, and then above that it shows 12 GB total. I have the option of selecting extended memory size of either two, four, six or 8 GB. The model number of my that I received in this deal is XT2415V.

The base memory 8GB of ram. The Virtual ram is a setting in the phone where you can add virtual memory from your 128GB storage drive. I do not have that feature enabled. It's a waste because the ram is much faster than the built in hard drive memory.
