Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

You don't see it at the bottom of the unlocking policy page?

I ask them for unlock after 60 days when I travel outside US, they said that you MUST call to support center for require UNLOCK.
Can someone with experience unlocking similar from straight talk in the past, confirm that you don't need to call to get the unlock.

No option to enter unlock code for this phone when Dial #TFUNLOCK# (#83865625#) says sim locked no prompt which means its remote unlock or automatic unlock

Very possible, been numerous posts in HoFo saying the newest phones were auto unlocking like iPhones. Can't know for sure till mine unlocks 8/13.

https://www.tfwunlockpolicy.com/ says "For all cellphones activated with new TracFone service on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, the cellphone will be remotely unlocked automatically, sixty (60) days after activation."

IF you got this deal directly from straighttalk and got 2 phones, can you still get a 3rd phone from purchasing directly from Walmart?

I wonder if this remote unlocking requires any connectivity to ST, either via Internet or mobile network/signals? I am thinking about traveling outside the country with it and using it abroad after 60 days. It won't have access to any US Mobile network at that time.

When I activated my new phone and straighttalk silver plan, I went with getting a new number. The new number I got is actually a pretty good one that I'd like to keep, and port it to my google voice account. The number I have now on google voice I'm fine with loosing. Is this possible to do, and if so, how?

Google charges $20 to port in a number, you'd have to cancel current GV number through your GV acct.
Not sure how porting affects unlock, might want to wait.

Thanks for the reminder about the $20 GV charge... I'd forgotten that.!

Yes I think there are several considerations:
- I've got to port the number out of StraightTalk to GV I assume before my Silver plan expires, or else the number is not portable, right?
- I don't want to renew the Silver plan for a second 30 days
- And of course I want to keep the clock ticking for the phone unlock after 60 days

If it's not possible, that's ok, but this new number is a lot better than the one I currently have with GV.
