Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

Yep, bought two, sold one. free phone for me. I assume he may be doing what I am. Wait the 60 days and then take it elsewhere.

I have 4 phones in my account. All are deactivated. I can remove any of them. Is the number for that phone still listed in your account?

My deactivated phones all show I have to contact support to remove from account.

Just tried, won't work, it is asking me to input the pin number that they sent to my phone (that I don't have). Ugh.

I'll admit that I haven't tried to remove any of them yet as I want them unlocked first. The option shows at the bottom of my page to remove phones, so I thought it was no more complicated than that. My bad, but it seems contacting a support rep would surely work.

I decided to wait until my phone is unlocked, then I will nuke the phone I sold from the account. Don't want to screw things up before the unlock, somehow (my unlock date is 8/21)/

Still not auto unlocked. I activated on June 13th in store. The text message says it's already ready to be unlocked but no luck yet. Maybe will take a few more days.

This is why Androids suck so much. On iPhones it works exactly on day 60-61 each and every time based on my personal experience and from what I've heard.

It's supposed to work just like iPhones do but some of us just seem to have a defective phone OR the ST/TF unlock system is messed up, could be either but system makes more sense. Miine first said it qualified for unlock several days ago and waiting a few more days hasn't made a difference, it's still stuck.
BTW, has nothing to do with android many of us have previously unlocked lots of phones without any issues at all - this new auto unlock system for TF/ST is recent and obviously has bugs.

I need some more successful unlock stories. Don't tell me this will be a paperweight for me. I need a cheap phone for when I'm traveling to 3rd world countries. My iPhone would never be returned if lost.

It doesn't have to be a paperweight. You could use it as drink coaster.

There is real value in not having to deal with the mouth breathers at Walmart.

Part of me believes since this new guy came over from Boost that TF is ******* with us since so many were sold. He's saying so there, if you stay with ST it'll work otherwise **** you.

did connect them to wifi?

both mine unlocked shortly after starting the phone on wifi. I noticed one of them still can send and receive texts from any number but no calls or data while other can only get texts from 611611
