First 2 of 4 phones unlocked today. One was due the 16th and today the 20th. What's interesting is that they both had to have their original SIM card installed for it to unlock. These were for friends and we tried initially without the SIM card but when we checked to see in settings if they were unlocked they weren't. As soon as we put in the SIM cards and restarted the phone, the status changed to unlock. I have two more due to unlock on the 28th. Going to test without the SIM card first and if I get the locked message, going to insert the sims and see if they unlock.

Looks like I am in trouble. I send two phones out of the country assuming that both of them will be unlocked.

Unlock instruction sent from TF for my Moto G Stylus 5 G phone:
On your phone, dial #TFUNLOCK# (#83865625#) to access the TF UNLOCK Menu.
The TF UNLOCK Menu will request the UNLOCK Codes. Enter: two sets of 16 digit numbers

Today was my unlock day. Should have known, deal was too good to be true. Probably have a nice paper weight now, worthless to me.
  • Phone is not unlocked.
  • When texting UNLOCK, it says I am eligible and need to call (but know this is a waste of time)
  • Used ADB to remove bloat previously
  • Phone has been turned on every few days over the past 60-days (however, have left it on all of the time for the past week)
  • Phone has always been on Wifi
  • Rebooted multiple times, logged into Straighttalk app, nothing.

Having bought phones in the past with service from other carriers on eBay and Mercari, they have ALWAYS auto unlocked on the specified date, sometimes on a reboot.

They emailed me two sets of 16 digit codes. After entering the codes on the unlock menu, reboot the phone and the phone was unlocked.
But on Moto Power, no unlock menu comes out after dial #83865625#. It just shows "SIM LOCKED".

I got 5 3 different accounts, 3 diff emails, 2 addresses.

Sold 3 for $80 each. Waiting for 2 to unlock and maybe sell 1 of them for $100 and keep 1.
little profit and a waste of time IMO.

Same boat. Today was my unlock day for 2 phones. Both still locked. I have removed sims, rebooted, then replaced sims, nothing. Straight talk website shows no extra deactivation on both. No ADB, both phones took an update, received the service will terminate soon text yesterday on both. When I put in #TFUNLOCK# it just says sim locked, no menu or options.
