Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

There's also a new a IPhone 12 deal from Straight Talk. You have to buy the phone for $299, but you get a $25 service credit for 12 months on the $45 plan. It says it doesn't stack with the multi line discount tho.

My Walmart has them, but couldn't activate in store without a Smart Talk rep present, and they don't have them at this location anymore.

Are they the idiots, or am I?
It's not you, getting phone deals like this at Walmart is nearly impossible because of the exact reason they gave you.

Check your spam folder once maybe. The email subject says:
"StraightTalk" Order "116*****" Received

I know this may be obvious, but on 3 different Gmail accounts, the emails went to the spam folder. If you haven't checked, I would look there.

It's virtual ram... Don't know how much it actually helps with tho.
As odd as it sounds, I've found all my phones and tablets are much faster with the boost feature turned OFF. I also turn off all animations in the developer options, which really speeds up the device.

Do you know for sure if it has the bands for all the carriers? Do you know if it can be used overseas?
Don't know which model number since I don't think anyone's gotten the phone yet -- no clue if they have diff models or if its the same as the factory unlocked one directly from Moto

You should be able to use it overseas -- over here it could be hit or miss depending on carrier

ATT has a whitelist so the model number must match for you to use it otherwise your service might not work on ATT based carriers:

According to your note, sounds like as long as phone is activated i can use sim on other phone.. correct?
No guarantee that they'll unlock it if you use it in another phone -- I personally wouldn't risk it since its only 60 days to unlock and you only have to pay for 1mo service

ST doesn't require number port so just get a new number from them during activation and keep the sim with new phone until it unlocks

Risk is up to you -- if you want to do that then use the sim in the new phone first for few hrs or overnight then move it to another phone so it properly registers the IMEI activation

Do you know if I can activate to start the unlock process, and then use a Tracfone SIM in the phone right away, or would I need to wait for unlock?

If you port the number on day 31-60, can anyone confirm that it will (or should) still unlock as of day 61+?
none of that matters. 60 days after it is activated it should be unlockable.
