I ordered this yesterday and received it this morning. Upon unboxing, I found the build quality to be amazing. However, I was disappointed to discover that it's a magnetic charger, not a MagSafe charger. While I plan to use it for travel, I'm not sure if it will become part of my daily routine.

what does this even mean? magnetic but not magsafe?

It is magnetic, but not as fast as Magsafe. Apple's Magsafe charges an iPhone in under an hour. Whereas, the specs for this say it takes about 3 hours. In other words, Magsafe-compatible but not Magsafe-certified.
