Are they even worth the price? Most people say they are not.
I can't say for other people but I absolutely LOVE mine. I used to use carbon steel cookware but I prefer these ever since I got a set from Costco from like 4 years ago.

I bought the full HexClad set at Costco about 10 years ago and they've been collecting dust for 99% of their life. They look really fancy, but they suck bad, especially for frying eggs. The center of all 3 skillets is slightly raised, which means oil will never stay in the center. Frying breakfast potatoes is also terrible. Food sticks to these like no other! Buyer beware! Definitely not worth even their discounted price.
I would have returned them to Costco for a refund but I never got around to it and after a couple years I felt it was probably too late to return them. I know Costco would probably take them back, but I would feel scummy returning them now.

I am a proud owner of a hexascam wok. It's not as nonstick as a traditional coated one like tfal, and it doesn't conduct heat evenly like a 3ply stainless wok. (Don't even compare it to a traditional carbon steel wok, not even close). So what good is it? It's good for when guests come by and they see the grooves and say "cool pot", then I go on a 5 min rant about how crappy they are and how a giant waste of money they are
Sure, fanboys are gonna tell me to use these at low temp or some bs. Dude, I'm using a friggin wok, I ain't stir frying at low temp for nobody

Absolutely not worth it. I have 3 of them. They're just another fad pan like all the other diamond/green/organic/recycled options that came before. High heat and moderate use will make the black nonstick surface start flaking off (into your food?). They say you can use metal utensils with them but we've seen scratches when we do that. Don't get me wrong: it does produce a nonstick surface, but it's no better than most other decent nonstick pans, except it's triple the price. The best thing it has going for it, as someone else said, is that they're pretty.

Trust me when I say that these wouldn't even be worth the cost of shipping, nor the hassle of me taking a trip to the post office. This set is now relegated to being used only when all the other skillets are dirty and nobody wants to wash dishes. Honestly though, we prefer to wash our dirty skillets before resorting to using the Hexclad skillets.

If you really want to try out this style you can get a set of 3 knock offs called Henckels HXagon from Costco. Spend less on your disappointment. I use them now because they're what I have but they are far less non stick than expected.
America's Test Kitchen said these are terrible. They ultimately wear out like any nonstick pan and they're like 3x the price as an OXO that they recommend for nonstick. Plus they had much more food sticking on their Hexclad tests than much cheaper pans. If you want to spend $ on a nice pan get All Clad or similar.
Just a meme pan shilled by Ramsay so people buy them.

Most reviews are mixed, they're mediocre at best, if you can find the Kirkland set at Costco of nonstick pans for $35 you will be much happier and alternative would be T-Fal which is made by All-Clad:
After seeing these used on Hell's Kitchen many times, I decided to get a set since the show makes them look so wonderful. Thank goodness I watched a bunch of real world review videos before actually making a purchase. It was a while back, but I can't recall a single good review.

No they are not. There are several other better performing non sticks for a third of the price. The softest coating of all cookware leading to lowest average lifespan as well. My sister got one and wood utensils have already scored it. My mother in law loves the trendy stuff and did not listen to me when I warned he and she got the entire set for Christmas. My father in law hates them. I have a 15 year old set of Technique, now called Tramontia but not as good as they used to be. They are great but I bought a Granitestone just to see and they are fantastic, so I am slowly shifting to the Granitestones.

I do love the hexclad style pans. I get to sear properly as well as no stick, and it really is a good release of food. It is my favorite to use out of all the high priced pans I have, but the hexclad brand has rivets and there are other brands that have a clean interior that is easier to clean.
Ah, so I went looking, and the brand I like is the Black Cube one... It is not any cheaper really than the hex clad brand, but as I said, I like the ease of cleaning a pan that does not have rivets on the inside.
As far as reading the reviews in here where they say they do not like the next clad style non stick pans, I disagree completely.
I have all the top brands of non stick pans, with their top of the line series (at least they were top of the line 10 and 5 years ago), and the Black Cube pans are by far the easiest to cook in and the easiest to clean.
