you don't have to go to an actual Costco, you can do it over the phone
advantage is that Costco can waive the $35 connection fee per line that tmobile charges. Although if you do it on tmobile, you can try to get it waived via twitter, T-force.
also, there's a possibility that a $100 Costco cash card will be given after a few months for each upgrade.
