250 cd/m2, too dim unless you're watching in a room with very little light. Probable worth it to spend $100 more (on either size) to get a Hisense or TCL with much better performance/features.

Wow! Haven't heard of this brand since the late70's/early 80's. Had some nice audio receivers. Not the best, but a good value. Did some Asian manufacturer pick up the license for this brand?

Chinese companies have been buying up defunct brands that some people might remember. They do it for some brand/name recognition. It is nothing more than buying the name, nothing else related to the old company you might have known.

Brands from the past have been sold for their names for years (RCA, Zenith, Toshiba, Pioneer just to name a few). These TVs are for the guest room with little use. I purchased years past a Toshiba with Chromecast at Best Buy one Black Friday. I used it every day and the picture truthfully was great back then. Even the sound was fine (sound bars were then just coming of age). Fortunately, I bought the extended warranty because it only lasted 18 months. I replaced it with an LG that now is showing signs it may not last much longer. 8 years though of heavy use. I'm happy but now the fight begins as to how much to spend on the next one. I say one thing, the spouse another ...

I bought a smaller Sansui display from micro center during covid to use as a Dakboard display. It barely made it a year before it had lines all throughout the display and stopped working. Wouldn't recommend unless you buy some type of protection plan from micro center to take it back and exchange for something else when it fails.
