Gas is huge only for people that drive a lot, which varies widely depending on where you live, not to mention remote work from home being very common these days.

If you can afford to pay upfront, buy gas station GCs for future use.
Some gas stations sell third-party GCs and take CC as payment.
Also, disposable income and MPG too. These are the contributing factors…at least.
