This will drop if you're patient.

The 2024 Hisense U8N is already at $1100 for 65", that is the direct competitor to the 2024 QM8. They usually settle in at $1000 for 65" 8 series, so if you wait 2-3 months it'll probably end up there.

So the one BB now sells for $900 (850G) is still 2023? While This 851G is 2024, right?
What is the difference? Seems like TCL says there in comments that there is no difference, that's why model name didn't change

I know the 2024 QM85 has more dimming zones and has higher brightness than the 2023 QM8. It also does a much better job with its processor because crushing blacks were a problem with the 2023 and they have addressed that issue in the new 2024 QM85. I am sure there is more, but that is what I have found so far.
