Amazon has some other color ways and more sizes available for $75, grey/grey for $60. This color way but more sizes available is $100.

Well Onitsuka Tiger came first and merged with others to become ASICS and the logo was adopted from there. Then Onitsuka Tiger got reissued sometime in the 2000s and now there are both lines.

The logo is functional, it is designed to provide extra support to the lacing of the shoe.
