There's nothing quite like having 65% of your daily salt intake in a can of soup that doesn't have enough calories to get you past lunch. But they are are quick to point out that it has 17g of protein!

Anyone who gave a thumbs up, taste this? I bought this during a prior deal but wouldn't open a can today even if I we're to become a paid spokesperson. It's simply nasty.

Yes, tasted it and love it. I bought it last time and the family as well as coworkers really like it. Am buying 24 cans for work and 16 for home.

The word "mac" sounds substantive and tantalizing, but all they did is dump pasta into it, to make it less nutritious and cheaper. Disgusting.

Bought a case last year. They all exploded in route, from the heat, I'm assuming anyway. Was averaging 105, and neither the box or the cans were damaged, but the lid was popped on every can. amazon's normal system wouldn't allow a return, I had to chat up the customer service bot.

I was first introduced to a REAL 'chili-mac' from a small, local market that had a deli inside. I walked from work, walked up to a counter and ordered a bowl of chili-mac and then proceeded to have the best 15 minutes of my day eating that delicious meal. It was only cooked/served on Tuesdays, so I was walking to that deli every single Tuesday - working or not.

With all of that being said, this soup is certainly more of a soup than what *I* would call a real chili-mac entree. The flavors are OK in it and I added some spice with some hot sauce when I tried this before, but it was really runny and not what I personally prefer. I guess you could experiment for a thicker base and maybe add/adjust some ingredients, but this isn't a great enough deal for me to go through with it. Evidently you could use the coupon multiple in this, so could end up being a good deal for those who like this specific soup flavor. Cheers

Instead of saying you hate or like this product, it may be helpful to describe the taste. I personally find this disgusting, and here is why. It tastes oddly sugary. In fact, it's got 13g of sugar in a can (and whopping 49g of total carbohydrate - for a reference, a can of coke contains 39g of total carbohydrate). It tastes more like the kind of simple and sweet taste that kids would enjoy. If that's your thing, then you'd like it.
