I've had these but soles cushion is not strong enough to last long so they're not as comfy as when I initially got them. Wearing socks is wise otherwise inner material degrades quickly with sweat/friction.

Because if you wear them outside, the white soles look like garbage in no time.

Why white? WHYYYYYYYYY?????

I have these exact shoes and I do a lot of walking in NYC. Very comfortable.

I want to but I can't. I really want these but the white is so stain grabbing it frustrates me. Chuck's have white but they're different material that doesn't stain and the actual ground touching part isn't white.

Nelly had his white AF1s but those also didn't stain like these.

Maybe you're right. I'll get my lawn chair and go yell at kids from the porch like a crazy old man........

Don't forget these are "slip on" not "slip-in" Sketchers. He'll probably want the Slip-ins which are hands free. You still need to reach down to get the slip-ons on your feet. With enough wiggling you can probably get them on, but you really want the slip-ins. The difference is in the heel. Slip-ins have a rigid heel with a built-in horn and the slip-ons are just stretchy regular sock-type sneakers.
I know, this is terrible of Sketchers to do this with the naming.

I agree and it's so thick making it even more prominent! At least the black has a black sole, why they can't do that with the blue is a mystery!
