Is this or the tp link axe5300 a better deal/ unit?
I have the same question.
That system is $250 and seems well reviewed than Netgear.

I stick with two WiFi devices — Eero Pro's and Netgear Orbi's. Eero's for ease of use and stability (but lack of features and functionality) and Orbi's for speed/performance and features/functionality.

I found it at my local Costco for $199.97 as well despite the Instacart listing showing out of stock. The inventory count shows up on the Costco website (https://www.costco.com/netgear---...2085.html) and click CHeck Nearby Warehouses to search.

If you want to call to check for availability, use item number 1616261

Thank you and good to know. I've been using TP-Link Deco M5 for last 5 years and I have no issues as well. I am concerned about Netgear app as that's the main bad reviews are from.
As a Canadian, its easy for me to get the TP-Link than find Netgear. I am in need for a good mesh system for my friend.

I've had the axe for about 18 months now, never had any issues with speed or strength. Coming from an eero I was used to many more software updates than what I've seen from TP. The UI of the app has gotten better over time and has many different features.

FYI — if you are absolutely positive that you can purchase it through Instacart, you can save an additional $40 dollars by buying two $100 Instacart gift cards for $160 using the deal below and redeeming them when purchasing this.

Also, if you haven't used it already, don't forget to use the $15 off $50+ purchase code of SUMMERSAMEDAY24. Stacked with the gift card deal above, this should be an additional $55 bucks off on this deal.

FYI, you can only use one gift card per order. Did mistake of buying 2.

I had an orbi set from.costco that lasted about 2 year before constantly dropping connection. I ended up getting the tplink axe5300 set a few months ago. The setup being app only was a huge pain and now it keeps dropping internet for Android devices and screwing up dns routing for my pihole so it's going back.

This deal is tempting but I don't want to mess with orbi again. Went for broke and ordered.an Ubiquity setup today.

Same here with a similar orbi. Nothing but issues. Smart home devices randomly disconnect, etc. Switched to a linksys system and I maybe had to restart my router three times in the last year. Rock solid with ~50 devices at any given time.

I have tried almost all Orbi products (thanks to Costco's return policy). I could never achieve stability with any of the Orbi products. Ever since I bought and switched to the Ubiquiti AmpliFi Alien WiFi 6 WiFi System, I have never had any issues. No dropped connections, reboots, or anything.

Netgear Orbi seems to have issues between bad hardware or lousy firmware
