It can be used daily until you reach the darkness you want. Then use 1-2x a week to maintain. I leave on 10 min I stead of 5 and recommend using cheap plastic gloves. Otherise you have to make sure to wash hands immediately after as some people say it'll stain your nails. So much easier than brush in style and with it at this price. Others will say it's not as strong as previous version which I think is true, but it still works great.

With all of the effort that this takes to use, you might as well just dye your hair once, and be done with it for a few months, until your roots start to show.
What effort? Don't you wash your hair or do you like smelling like a pig?

It works. Just put it on in the shower, wait 10 minutes, then rinse it out. Do it a few times and it will wash out the greys. My only complaint is the coloring. I like Medium Brown, but this is basically dark or light. The dark gets dark.
It is a lot better than regular hair dye that always has a copper tint to it and which starts fading in a week. At least this keeps your hair color consistent.

Think about how FAST your facial hair grows.
You pretty much need to use this daily(on the short sides) to keep up.

Greys add distinction, maturity, knowledge, sexiness, wisdom and character.

(that's what I try to tell my family)
Facial hair grows much faster than head hair. Head hair grow about 1/4 inch per month.

Amazon tried to scam me at first. The final check out page showed the S&S and coupon discounts but the total was still the full price. I know Amazon has things set up so that coupons don't apply on the first try even though it says they are clipped in order to rip people off, but this actually showed -$..50 and -$2.50 in the box that shows all the charges but the total price was still $9.97. I had to empty my cart and do it again.

I've been buying touch of gray from Amazon for a couple of years for $8.97. No S&S.
Now it's "on sale" for $9.97.
I never understood that product. It's like going to a restaurant and ordering the "Still a little hungry" meal. Either dye your hair or don't. Why half ass it?

I didn't have much luck with the shampoo when I tried it several years ago. But I didn't leave it on my hair long while in the shower - maybe a minute. Maybe I should keep it on for several minutes like what irishtroll1984 said above.
I put in in first thing and then wash everything else before rinsing it out so it is in a few minutes. At a minute per time you would have to do it daily for 3 weeks to a month to see a change.

I started graying at 18. Ugh. Anyway I use JFM's Touch of Gray hair coloring (not dye), then maintain using the shampoo. Very natural looking.

Certain anti-dandruff shampoos can also cause your coloring to fade faster, so the shampoo helps here too. None of the JFM products have ever caused me any irritation and I've been using them for a long time.

It truly doesn't matter. I started to see gray at 18. But 30 it was pretty salt and pepper. At 45 I'm pretty much all gray. No one cares. Most of the ladies I've been with have liked it.

Can confirm this. Most actually prefer it. I have a very long, but manicured beard and actually bought some dye awhile back. My wife almost killed me. She said don't you dare change up that beard and trust me when I say this, she is a teacher/fitness instructor and I defintely married up...like way up LOL. You are putting the doubts in your head. Let the gray in Big Grin

This works great for the top and back of my head where the hair is longer. It's obvious that it's browner than before using, but definitely not 'OMG you dyed your hair!' Very natural. Sadly, it does absolutely nothing to the shorter grey hair on my sides for some reason. Zero difference. Anyone know why or have a solution?
I was about to comment I was surprised at all the comments about how effective this is.

For me it works to dye sideburns / normal hair but does not stick to thicker beard hairs at all.

Well there are three different products mentioned in the OP so that could be the source of confusion. I was referring to the regular GX hair shampoo.
