Folding phones have the lowest residual value. Someone posted some research on Reddit about this. They lose like 50% in the first year.

Think hard about this I'm among many people that have the black line going down the crease. I had the Fold 4 16 months when it started. Now the inside screen is unresponsive. Samsung has been quiet about it. For those that say In caused it, Google it, there's way more then you think. Samsung needs to step up and admit what all the sources are saying the Hinge is flawed.

Yeah that was the last time Samsung offered the really good pre order deals Frown. I took advantage of all th same stuff but since then I've been having a harder time justifying upgrading each time. The Samsung loyalty trade in deals were the big thing that kept me with Samsung. I'm super curious about the new pixel fold

I'm going to be leaving Apple so If that means $500 to try out a fold phone I'll give it a shot and if I hate it sell it and get ultra 24.

Typically android phones lose value much faster over a year vs almost any iPhone.
