If you are talking about the LS49CG954ENXZA model, that one is not OLED. If you are talking about the EPP/EDU discount from Samsung, not everyone qualifies for the discount. If there is another deal, please let me know. I'm looking for one of these.

everyone qualifies, I got it for 899 without using a edu email, samsung/apple don't really check edu credentials.

Negative. I just tried and I didn't get the discount. It shows the $900 price but when I check out, it changes back to $1799. How did you get it to work without EDU/EPP account?

promotion expired probably, samsung always discount this monitor down to 700-900 couple times a year, some guy scored one for like 749 on the other thread. i got this for 886 after asking customer support for discount code.
