SLC > MLC >TLC > QLC

Tlc is currently the standard for good quality consumer ssds, and realistically has greater endurance than 99% of people will ever need. Qlc is far cheaper, but the endurance and reliability is a good deal worse compared to tlc, so you should only purchase a qlc drive for non write-heavy use cases. Unfortunately, most manufactures will intentionally list "3d nand" instead of qlc in the specs for qlc drives, in order to confuse consumers.

Wasn't this like $70 a year or so ago? Sad to see prices climb up.

Edit: Never mind, I think it was a lower-end SSD.

This is probably the best I've seen for this version. It was never 70$.

I have it, paid around 130 after tax. It's been about a year and is very fast.

X2 I want to know also.

edit: according to the manufacturer website it is compatible with PS5, but it doesn't include a heatsink which is needed. You can buy it separately though but to much hassle imo.

You'll want a heatsink for it (additional cost) but otherwise yes

Is this too hot for a laptop? Seeing everyone suggest a heatsink is needed

A heatsink for this is extremely easy to install, takes maybe a minute. They run about $5-8 on amazon

I have an open case. Had to put a heatsink on p31. I don't think it runs significantly cooler. It's not even my primary drive.

Got mine from Newegg last year in September, $105 tax included to my door. Best price I've seen on this since the artificial price hikes.

SLC > MLC > TLC
For stuff like this, write cycles don't really matter. There's almost no way anyone would wear this out, especially in normal daily usage.
