BTW this might be worth a bet at this price, but this is yet another one of Samsung's appallingly unreliable appliances. I bought one to replace an LG that failed, but it didn't last long. After some research I bought a Whirlpool [lowes.com], and that has been great.

At this point, the reliably of Samsung appliances is well documented and available to anyone with an internet connection. It bewilders me why people still buy them. Samsung must have a HUGE database of details relating to failed appliances. Why wouldn't they just use that to target fixes in production? Again. I'm bewildered.
