This particular package comes with the standard size battery, which is actually what you want if you want to stay under the 250g limit (where u don't have to register it). The Fly More combo comes with the extended battery, which adds ~3-4 min of Fly time, but pushes it past 250g, triggering the broadcast ID feature, and requiring registration.
Personally, I think the upgrade to the RC 2 controller so you don't have to use your phone every time is worth it.

Let's be honest, there will be no SDK for Mini 4 and you know it. Just like my Mavic 3 Pro won't get one.
Honestly I will never get a Mini 4 Pro and at this point, it's too late. I have to wait for the Mini 5. I'm skipping Air 3 as well and glad I did (for the same reason) but Air3S/4 is coming soon so we'll see. Honestly, I'm just waiting on Mavic 4 Pro and hope it beats the ban deadline.
Don't take our advise to others to go for the better drone personally as you don't have it, can't afford it or don't want to buy it. It was just meant to be a good advise for another poster and not a dig at you. Everyone's economic situation is different. Some people want absolute best and some people are happy with Mini 2 SE. what you don't want to be doing is to be that guy who says my Corolla is better then your Porsche as I can do mods and have SDK's for my car. People can see through the argument and feel your pain.
We are happy you have so many old drones, keep flying them. Stay safe, be happy and seek help in case you are feeling sad about your purchase.
At this moment of time anyone recommending Mini 3 Pro is someone who already has it and is trying to justify his purchase.

And your comparisons to cars is tired. The pain I'm feeling is having to listen to you talk about cars like that as if there is some sort of established hierarchy.
Other than that, I'm fine. It's not about me. I'm busy working thru the ban details, you keep patronizing and talking about drones as if nobody knows anything about them except you.

I recently bought the Fly more combo with RC2 controller (w/ screen) for $880 (DJI refurb). Unit came like new with all the new accessories. Added 2 year care refresh. Total $1004. 1% DJI credit and 2% cashback at certain not-retail-me website.
Units come in and out of stock. No brainer.

Is this new Costco deal for the Mini 4 Pro a sale price or just a newly available item? I see the original post states that the price was $905.99, but I don't see that price on the Costco website. What I'm getting at is if 749.99 is the regular price, then there's a chance it goes even lower if it goes on sale.
