New sport to get started

laugh out loud Ok I had to hurry and mow the yard quickly as it was just starting to rain and it's predicted to rain pretty much all throug the night. While zipping around the yard cutting and trying to still get close to trees and things to avoid also having to get out the trimmer.. while also avoiding being knocked off the mower by branches... and still going pretty fast I thought.. I can see people doing speed mowing and being rated on time, closeness of cut to objects and neatness. Big Grin



Think people would watch and rate that?


What other odd things could be made into a sport.
I mean.. heck.. video games are also a sport..

It varies depending on the size of your lot in the trailer park. A major plus is if any of your neighbors left their sheds open where they keep a mower & gas.

They were not but upon reconsidering they were put in the house for a reason and yet.. leaving them out would add a new element of challenge.
Loki likes to take too many toys back out of the crate while I'm mowing. Then I have to stop and move the toys out of the way.

A local fair has lawn tractors races. Heavily enhanced engines. My buddy and I did this a few times. Never won. Blew 2 or 3 engines. It was great. I think he still has the shell of a cub cadet that finished one race

This is why I on race with my neighbor's lawn tractor, besides mowing the lawn with them.

I wonder if I could get this idea to catch on amongst the teenagers in my neighborhood and trick them Tom Sawyer style into mowing my lawn for free? It's POWERFUL fun!
