This thread for those of us who are on "GACTV SUPERFAN" thread a place to talk and exchange ideas and information. There is no subject that is off limits. There will be little to no moderating of content. you may talk about any and every thing you would like. Please use this site to post and talk about things that would be considered no essential on the main site here. My plan is to start watching GAC at 10am in the morning. If they give a code during the first hour, I'll log on and spend the day on the internet. If they don't give a code, I'll assume it starts at 5pm.
I have mixed feelings about the week vs weekend. As I mentioned the normal weekend hours above, 14 hours a day gets real long and boring sitting in front of a computer and watching only one channel, especially a channel as repetitive as GAC. A whole week is only 8 hours a day, but since they are repeating codes it's really only 4 hours (or less) of watching GAC. I'm usually up until 1 or 2am so losing sleep isn't an issue. What I do have issue with is the way they put up and take down the places to enter codes. Like this week, we knew all the hourly codes by 9pm, but we had to wait until that hour to enter them and they only gave a window of a couple of hours to enter the codes before taking it down. I lost out on points Wednesday because I had to turn off the computer for a few hours and when I came back it was too late to enter the code. Ideally I'd love to just watch GAC and write down the codes, hour by hour, and enter them online all in one sitting at the end of the night.
And of course it doesn't help week or weekend when the trade-ins are WAY OVERPRICED crap.
I honestly don't see things getting better and have seriously considered giving up superfan because the reward isn't worth the effort anymore. But there's the problem, I don't want the points I've accumulated to go to waste and there's nothing worth cashing out for. There's also a little greedy streak in me that wants as many points as I can get.
